So autumn has finally arrived in lovely Amsterdam! Since Basti happens to be in town, a photo walk around the city was of course in order! I was complaining to him about how I suck at taking pictures and wish I could learn a thing or two from this exercise. So without further ado, here are my shots from this weekend.
Our first order of business was to go to the very hip neighborhood of De Pijp. Here you will find the famous street market, Albert Cuypmarkt. We wanted to see if we can buy cheap things (OK, maybe Amsterdam and cheap doesn't go together). We also wanted to get some freshly made stroopwafels.
After De Pijp, we made our way to De Hallen for two reasons -- window shopping and food. I didn't get to shoot much because I was preoccupied by the really nifty things being sold and I was also getting hungry.
And because the NEMO Science Museum offered free entrance this weekend, we thought we should come see what's in there. I suspected there will be lots of children and boy I've never been so right in my life. Haha. Here are some of the photos on our way to the museum.
I hope to take more photos in the upcoming days to practice because I really want to improve. Are you a pro? If so, your feedback and any tips and tricks are welcome. Leave me a comment below and I'll be happy to learn more about street photography. Til next time. Cheers!
